Our offshore trips see us pushing further out to seek deeper water and hopefully some nice fish. This is a much tougher day at sea with lures needing to be constantly worked while drifting the wrecks or baits worked as we drift the deep  banks for turbot. When the tides are right we also offer anchored offshore trips which see us at anchor on a deep wreck targeting those big, hard fighting conger eels. Conger eels are one of the most hard fighting fish we have available to us, they are not a great eating fish however there is always the possibility of big pollack, cod and bream while targeting them, so if a day of sport and catching a fish bigger than yourself is what you're after get booked onto one of our conger trips. While drifting the wrecks with lures you can expect to catch pollack and cod. The pollack season starts in January and runs through the summer with the bigger fish being accounted for in the spring. Cod can also be caught on the deep wrecks during the summer months using the same technic. These are long days of constant fishing with only a small time to rest in-between drifts, this trip is more suited to the experienced angler. However we can cater for all. Through out the year we also have offshore banks available to us which can hold good numbers of turbot and brill, again the same as the wrecking trips these are long days fishing in deep water, drifting over the banks with strips of mackerel trying to tempt one of these awesome flatfish. Our Specialist bass trips often see us on the more inshore wrecks but we can also target them on the deeper wrecks using live baits to trick one of the most sought after fish in our waters.
