FAQ's

What happens if a trip is cancelled?

  • If the trip is cancelled due to poor weather or any unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a chance to rebook or have a your deposit refunded.

What are your timings ? 

  • Our departure and return times change from time to time, but pour usual timings for our full day fishing trips is 7;3am departure and 3;30pm return. 4 hour trips leave at 7:30am, 12pm and 4pm inm the summer months. These timings are subject to change so please check with the skipper first. 

Do you expect credit cards?

  • No, Unfortunately we can only except cash on the day for the payment of the remaining balance. You can of course pay the full amount as a deposit when booking online. 

Do we need to bring Food & Drink? 

  • You'll need to bring your own food and refreshments however the skipper will provide tea and coffee throughout the day.

Is Alcohol allowed on the boat?

  • Due to our insurance policy we can only allow a small quantity of alcohol to be brought on board with the skippers permission. If anyone is drunk before or during the trip the boat will return and the full fee for the trip will be charged. 

Is it suitable for children ? 

  • Yes our vessel is a very stable platform with high gunnels meaning it is very safe for children. We advise that if they haven't been on a boat before to book a 4 hour trip or wind farm tour, rather than a full day as once the boat is out at sea there is no returning unless determined by weather. 

Is there a toilet on board?

  • Yes, wehave an electric flash toilet on board available to all. 

Can we keep our catch?

  • Yes, as long as it is sizeable and there are no restrictions or current laws prohibiting the retention of that species. 

What clothing shall we bring?

  • We advise to always bring more than you think you need. It is always cooler out at sea than on land so bring an extra jumper or coat just in case. if its not needed then there is space to store it out of the way. 

Wind farm Trips 

How long does it take to get to the wind farm?

  • Depending on weather conditions it takes 30-50 minutes to get to the wind farm. 

How long is the tour?

  • The windfarm tour is approximately 2.5 hours long. 

What are the wind farm trip timings?

  • These vary but usually they depart at 9am,11am, 3pm & 6pm. We can offer a different departure time if the full boat is hired, However check with the skipper first.

What clothing shall we bring ? 

  • We advise to always bring more than you think you need. It is always cooler out at sea than on land so bring an extra jumper or coat just in case. Depending on weather, there is the chance of sea spray on the trip out to the wind farm so bring a coat even if its not raining, if its not needed then there is space to store it out of the way. We do have ponchos on board as well.
